Henderson also discussed the founding of the Vibrations Dance Company, his experiences as its artistic director and principal choreographer, the importance of creating inclusive, safe spaces for teaching, learning, and performing Black dance, and the continuing need for Black queer representation within all spaces. He described the gay clubs in Columbia during the 1990s, shared memories of the club Metropolis, and his involvement with dance cliques.
